Our partner is hiring a Registered Manager that is passionate about enhancing the quality of life of the people they support who are at the heart of their management teams.
They’re searching for a fantastic Registered Manager to join them in their residential service in Dover. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports older people with Dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work alongside local authorities, healthcare professionals, and the families of the people supported.
* Lead a team to ensure individuals gain more independence in their daily lives and achieve positive outcomes.
* Manage the day-to-day running of the service(s).
* Develop and implement person-centred support plans.
* Conduct care needs assessments.
* Recruit and induct new colleagues.
* Complete supervisions/appraisals and medication competencies/audits.
* Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and complete quarterly audits and reports.
* Effectively manage the services P&L.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
* Previous experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management role.
* Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration.
* A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care.
* Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours.
