Our aerospace client, based in Titchfield, Hampshire, is actively seeking three Assembly Technicians to join their team on a long-term contract basis at their fuel systems site.

Important
The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical component assembly, with some soldering experience.
Rates
* MT5 Core days: £15.76, rising to £16.24; Overtime x1.5; Sundays x2
* MT6 Core days: £16.28, rising to £16.77; Overtime x1.5; Sundays x2
Hours (37 per week)
* 7:30 am - 4:15 pm (Monday to Thursday)
* 7:30 am - 11:30 am (Friday)
Job Summary
The successful candidate will join as a Manufacturing/Assembly Technician in the Valves area, responsible for the production and assembly of valves, components, and assemblies, including some soldering. They will report to a Manufacturing Supervisor and the Manufacturing Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Build assemblies using manufacturing tools and techniques, including complex assemblies
* Perform visual inspections
* Assist with problem solving and root cause analysis
* Conduct soldering as required
* Follow manufacturing documentation and procedures
* Maintain a safe working environment and adopt a 5S approach
* Drive continuous improvement
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping
* Adhere to EHS, Quality, and training requirements
* Be willing to learn and train others
Experience Required
* Soldering experience, ideally to IPCJ-STD-001, but training to J Standards will be provided
* Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and instructions
* Experience with manufacturing documentation, both handwritten and digital
* Previous aerospace manufacturing experience is advantageous
