Job summary An opportunity has arisen with the North (Horsham, Crawley and Mid-Sussex) Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) to work as a Occupational Therapist on a 12 month fixed term contract until end of June 2026, The post holder will manage a varied and complex caseload providing skilled occupational therapy intervention for people requiring assessment and neuro-rehabilitation when they are experiencing impairments that impact upon high level functioning and activities. The post holder will focus their interventions on supporting people to increase their autonomy and independence within their homes; enhance their social participation and psychological well-being and facilitate the resumption of roles important to the person including education or employment. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to education for the person, their family and the wider support network and to act as a resource for CNRT. Experience of working with people with neurological conditions within the community is essential and you will need to be an effective communicator who can work flexibly and proactively to deliver a prompt and clinically effective service. You should be a creative problem solver and demonstrate a willingness to develop and pilot new ideas.
