As part of the Clinical Division and in conjunction with the Divisional Director, provide operational and managerial leadership to the Division, working in partnership with the Clinical Leads and other management and professional/clinical leads.
Working as a key part of the senior Divisional management team, promote effective governance ensuring that the highest standards of clinical care and performance are delivered and that all clinical and non-clinical performance indicators, access standards and objectives are met, in line with the Trust's Operational Plan and long-term strategy.
Work with the Divisional Director, Divisional Head of Nursing, and Associate Medical Director in the delivery and translation of both Divisional and Trust clinical service strategy, corporate and Divisional objectives and the development and implementation of business plans and service developments. Ensure that quality, performance, CIP, and budgetary targets are monitored, and recovery plans are devised where necessary to enable compliance and achievement.
Support and provide strong leadership across the Division to ensure that staff are supported to deliver the best care and patient experience by putting patients and their families first and make the organisation the best place to work in the NHS by prioritising the health, wellbeing, and development of people.
