Our client, a global leader in Facilities Management, is seeking a Senior Strategic Procurement and Suppy Chain Manager to join their team in London Hybrid working Working alongside Industry Leaders Salary Up to £70,000 Car Allowance The Role This hybrid role, based in London, offers the flexibility of remote working with occasional travel to meet clients and suppliers. You will report to the central SCM function with a dotted line into the retail operations team. About You You are a highly motivated, articulate professional with extensive experience in Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Management, particularly within the private and public sector. A relevant degree qualification is a strong advantage, along with a background in FM operations and a technical understanding of hard and soft services. Your ability to build lasting client and vendor relationships, along with strong Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) skills, is essential. Your commercial acumen, supplier network within the FM marketplace, and experience with ESG initiatives will set you apart. You are digitally savvy, with advanced skills in procurement software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Familiarity with PowerBI and CAFM systems is a bonus, and a CIPS qualification or training towards it is desirable. Key Responsibilities Overseeing strategic procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, selection, negotiation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), development of the preferred supplier program, and spend analysis. Leading procurement tendering (RFX) and mobilisation processes. Managing the supply chain mobilisation, stabilisation, and transformation phases throughout the lifecycle of new accounts. Developing and executing commercial strategies and contract management, including leading tenders/RFX, pricing strategies, benchmarking, savings initiatives, contract formation, reviews, negotiations, change control, contract lifecycle management (CLM), budget control, and identifying scope and specification efficiencies. Facilitating supplier onboarding through the procurement platform, coordinating with operations, QHSE, and finance teams to ensure smooth progress. Supporting ethical and sustainable procurement practices, focusing on social value, supplier diversity, and tackling issues like modern slavery. Ensuring compliance with supply chain governance, risk management, and SCM playbook/manual processes and procedures. Managing the contract register, supplier directory, and SharePoint portal. Drafting procurement and contractual documents as required. Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on supplier performance metrics and statistics. Qualifications & Experience Degree qualification (Preferred) CIPS qualification or training towards it (desirable). Experience in facilities management, procurement, and contract law. Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with PowerBI and CAFM systems is a plus. Location & Salary London-based (Hybrid) with occasional travel to clients/suppliers.
