We have an exciting opportunity for Support Workers to join our supported living care service at Clareville Lodge. Located in Caterham, Surrey, Clareville Lodge provides high quality care for adults between the ages of 18 65 with learning disabilities and associate needs, epilepsy, acquired brain injury, sensory impairment, communication difficulties and physical disabilities. We have capacity for up to 9 residents where we care for and support them in their everyday needs. We have a highly experienced team which provide 24-hour care, along with waking night specialist support. The trained team provides the highest level of care and support to all residents at Clareville Lodge whilst enabling people to live as independent as possible in their own homes. All our residents are encouraged to mix with their peers as they wish. We organise events such as coffee mornings, arts and crafts sessions and movie nights so all residents can participate and have opportunities to socialise. Build positive relationships both in the home and in the wider community. We are a lively house and we focus to empower the people we support so they can reach their full potential and lead an independent life. Our communal lounge is where residents come together for activities and to socialise in a friendly environment. Full Time hours/Part Time Hours 42 Hours a week Days/Nights What you'll be doing: Supporting our clients with daily activities Following support plans to promote consistency in care and enabling individuals to maximise their potential. Ensure the client feels safe, and stable within their day to day care Personal Care Administrating medication (if required) Support service users with physical disabilities using trained techniques and aids e.g. hoists, wheelchairs, modified bathing equipment What you'll have: Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills. Flexible, professional. Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping. Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
