We are currently seeking a professional Multi-Skilled Engineer with Electrical Bias, based at a varied industrial and commercial site in Goole. The role focuses on the delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, and installations.
Work at other client locations may be required, as will the need to support and participate in an on-call rota operated from within the site-based team. Occasional overtime may be requested.
As an electrically qualified multi-skilled engineer, the role will be oriented around electrical works with a requirement for flexibility and a willingness to undertake other non-electrical works that fall within the scope of the contract. This could involve maintaining, repairing, and installing assets around the site, whether it be specific equipment, works to a building, or the site infrastructure.
The Multi-Skilled Engineer will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our clients and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our clients, customers, and Apleona colleagues is a key requirement for this position.
Skills & Experience:
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation
- Formal Electrical Qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Valid UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience in working at corporate/manufacturing locations
- Legionella Awareness
- Mechanical Qualification
- Gas Safe Registration
- F-Gas
- Plumbing skills and experience
- HVAC operational knowledge
- IOSH Managing Safely
We’ll provide you with full training once you start and ensure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar environment. You will work 40 hours per week and be paid up to £43,000, with access to Apleona employee benefits that will be available to you as soon as you start.
