HVAC Project Manager sought in Yeovil (South West)
We are working with a massive building services organisation, undergoing expansion and in demand of many M&E skillsets throughout the South West. Our client is seeking a Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager to join a specialist HVAC team. Ideally, we are looking for someone with solid AC experience across multiple sectors, preferably with a strong general M&E understanding. However, we are open to discussions with those holding equivalent HVAC construction experience, authority, and qualifications.

Daily Duties of an HVAC Project Manager:
1. Oversee and manage air conditioning and ventilation projects from conception to completion.
2. Plan and oversee air conditioning and ventilation projects, ensuring all objectives are met.
3. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution.
4. Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress.
5. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
6. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
7. Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
8. Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
9. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
10. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
11. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
What you’ll need to succeed as an HVAC Project Manager:
1. Proven working experience in project management, specifically within the air conditioning sector of the HVAC industry.
2. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
4. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
5. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
6. Strong knowledge of air conditioning and/or ventilation systems, installation, and maintenance.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
