Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a successful secondary school in South Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified teacher to inspire and engage students in the study of Religious Education, fostering critical thinking and ethical discussions in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
Inspire students to explore different religious beliefs, ethics, and moral issues
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field
Previous experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for education and a commitment to student success
Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service
