We have an exciting new opportunity in the Market Drayton and Whitchurch area for a Service Manager who can share in Bethphage’s values.
As the Service Manager, you will provide high-quality support to adults with learning disabilities who require assistance with their mental health and Autism, ensuring they are supported to develop and maintain independence and participate in community activities, leisure, education, and work opportunities in a person-centred way.
The role will involve leading the day-to-day management of three 24/7 supported living services and five small weekly hour services (outreach), providing effective management for nine people with learning disabilities who require support with their mental health and Autism. You will ensure your teams provide high-quality support.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced health and social care worker with a Level 3 qualification, a good communicator, able to network and work with people at all levels. You should be confident and knowledgeable in the sector, capable of handling the role and addressing issues, knowing when to seek help and advice. You will be able to use IT and different systems, write legibly, and have significant experience in positive behaviour support.
Candidates who do not have a Level 4/5 qualification but are prepared to work towards this will be considered, provided they have suitable supervisory experience and professional knowledge in the sector, ideally in learning disability.
*The role will involve participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
