As Practice Lead – Product, you will lead our in-house team of Principal Product Consultants and Product Owners, guiding the evolution of product practices across Waracle and championing excellence in customer outcomes. This role is pivotal in shaping our approach to product thinking, customer value, and strategic product delivery — ensuring that our product teams deliver digital experiences trusted by millions. You will get to: Shape and own Waracle’s product practice. Define the vision and drive the strategy of how product thinking supports our clients and people. Champion our CoP model to create a self-sustaining, high-performing product community that prioritises knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and aligned ways of working. Lead from the front — enabling Principal Product Consultants and Product Owners to deliver business value through human-centred, data-informed approaches. Support strategic pre-sales and account development. Collaborate with Client Partners, Delivery and Growth to shape, pitch and land meaningful client engagements. Drive collaboration between disciplines. Work closely with Design, Engineering and Research practices to support cross-functional excellence from requirements gathering to delivery and ongoing support. Nurture talent and foster development. Provide line management, coaching, feedback and growth opportunities for members of the product practice. Act as a strategic advisor to internal teams and external clients — helping them navigate complex digital deliveries and product challenges. Measure and report impact. Ensure KPIs and success metrics are embedded across the practice and contribute to both client and business outcomes. Stay on the edge. Promote and share thought leadership by identifying trends, technologies, and opportunities in the product and digital solution space — enabling Waracle to remain ahead of the curve. Key responsibilities will include: People leadership Line manages and develops a community of Principal Product Consultants and Product Owners. Promotes inclusion, psychological safety and active participation in the practice. Support annual performance reviews, salary calibration and competency alignment. Community development Foster internal knowledge sharing and learning and development through mentoring, formal training, accreditation, and playbook development. Shape the structure and operating rhythm of the product practice. Monitor and report on product engagement, outcomes, and value delivered. Strategic account growth Work with delivery and sales to identify and document upsell and cross opportunities and pursue account growth. Act as a senior product practitioner on paid programmes, playing the lead role in discovery and across delivery. Maintain awareness of market and technology trends, and ensure our offerings evolve accordingly. Operational excellence Partner with casting to ensure supply planning and skill alignment. Maintain the right balance of junior, mid, senior, and lead product talent across client engagements. Promote consistency in product delivery methodologies and best practice documentation across teams. A track record of delivery as a senior product practitioner — with significant experience leading the detailed solution delivery of successful digital products or transformation programs end to end across platforms and in fast-paced client environments. Experience managing or mentoring others, with a servant-leadership approach that champions team success and individual growth. Strong facilitation and storytelling skills — confident running discovery workshops, shaping product strategy, and presenting to C-suite stakeholders. A collaborative mindset and a passion for connecting the dots between business strategy, customer need and technical feasibility. Demonstrated experience in pre-sales, pitch work, or account development, including leading solution definition within commercial proposals. Familiarity with the methodologies and frameworks that shape digital product development today: agile, lean, design thinking, dual-track agile, OKRs and the skills to consult and advise on which approach works best in each scenario. Experience working alongside Engineering, Design, and Research teams in multi-disciplinary agile squads. A clear understanding of how to define, measure and communicate value.
