We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in providing outstanding care for children and young people in a residential setting in and around Swindon. This role is ideal for an individual with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position and a Level 3 Children’s Residential qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support and promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people in your care.
2. Build trusting relationships and provide a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported.
3. Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of each child, working collaboratively with the wider team.
4. Assist in daily routines, including mealtimes, education, and leisure activities, ensuring children are supported in all aspects of their development.
5. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in children’s residential care.
2. A Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Passion for working with vulnerable children and young people.
5. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
