Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Precision CNC Machined Parts

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise in the design, development, and optimization of precision CNC machined components. This hands-on engineering role focuses on technical excellence, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement in design and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design precision CNC machined parts (including micron-level tolerances) using Solidoworks
* Conduct simulations and analyses (FEA, thermal, flow) to validate designs
* Apply GD&T principles and ensure design for manufacturability - lower volume, higher value
* Create drawings and documentation for production
* Support multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality technical output
* Collaborate with the rest of the engineers, procurement, PM's
* Provide technical input during design reviews and supplier discussions
* Identify opportunities to improve part performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
* Support troubleshooting efforts and implement engineering solutions to production issues
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives within machining and assembly
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing technologies
* Contribute to R&D initiatives and continuous product innovation
1. Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Approx 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, with a focus on CNC machined parts
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools
* In-depth understanding of CNC machining processes, materials, and tolerances
* Solid grasp of GD&T, DFM/DFA principles, and industry best practices
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred:
* Professional Engineer certification
* Experience in regulated industries
* Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other quality improvement methodologies
