About the Role
As a music teacher, you will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans and teaching students how to play instruments or sing. You will prepare students for performances, providing guidance on repertoire selection and rehearsal techniques. Additionally, you will assess their progress through tests and evaluations, offering constructive feedback to support their growth. Maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment is essential, as is fostering creativity and a love for music among your students.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a September 2025 start date.
Who We Are Looking For:
1. Degree or Equivalent
2. Excellent creative teaching ability.
3. A competent pianist who is able to accompany choirs, concerts, and productions.
4. Knowledge and understanding of current framework for teaching and assessment.
5. Experience teaching Music, choirs, and ensembles.
6. Have a passion for music and the success of music within the school.
