£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are Looked After Children (LAC).
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
* Collaborate with other professionals, such as SENCOs and social workers, to ensure holistic support for students.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Experience working with SEN students
* Knowledge of the national curriculum
* Understanding of SEN provisions and strategies
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in using various teaching resources and technology
* Additional certification in Special Education
* Training in safeguarding and child protection
