My client is a multi-family office running circa $3.9Bn AUM and has been consistently growing. They are now looking to add to their Manager Research team.
Key Role Responsibilities:
1. New Investments:
o Support due diligence of new investment proposals, including track record analysis, drafting of investment memorandums and other relevant documents, and participation in investment committee discussions.
o Assist in screening prospective new fund investments through participation in fund manager meetings and maintenance of the pipeline database.
o Prepare investment research to support strategy and fund selection.
2. Existing Portfolio:
o Ongoing monitoring and reporting of relevant information on private equity funds portfolio.
o Attend fund manager AGMs and ad-hoc meetings.
o Support performance analysis for the annual reporting process and client presentations.
3. Ad-hoc Projects:
o Research and analysis to support ad-hoc presentations and reporting (e.g., to potential new clients).
Minimum Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in manager research, having covered at least some private equity-focused manager research. Strong Excel skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a small team are also required.
