Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for an independent supplier of construction products based in Hampshire.
The Assistant Branch Manager will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure the smooth running of the branch, and that all accounts develop profitability. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress and develop their career within a well-established and highly successful company.
No Weekends.
Basic Salary - Up to £35,000
Working Hours - Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm

Main duties of an Assistant Branch Manager:
- Managing existing accounts
- Being proactive in internal and external sales calls
- Working on the trade counter as and when required
- Taking full responsibility for the branch in the managers absence
The ideal candidate:
- Have experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with aspects of a branch, including Sales, Operations, Administration and Stock Control
- Display a sales-driven attitude
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the trade/construction industry
- Show great communication and organisation skills
