Main Purpose of the Role

This is a Housing Assistant role within the Mobile Team based in Pullar House. This post requires you to provide cover within the locality teams and travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross when required.
You will undertake administrative, financial and governance duties but will also provide support to other colleagues within the Housing teams to deliver a comprehensive, frontline housing management service to our customers. The post involves contact and liaison with a wide range of customers including colleagues within the team, in other council services, external agencies, customers, tenant representatives and elected members.
You will also be required to carry out visits to tenants' homes for tenancy and estate management purposes as part of the role. You will work 5 days a week (7 hours 12 minutes daily) but will participate in a flexi scheme.
Skills & Experience Required
You must have a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work use as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross. Candidates should ideally hold a CIH Level 3 Certificate/ Diploma in Housing Practice or National Homepoint Standard Level 2; must be computer literate with proven IT skills in Microsoft Office applications and have experience of using computer databases and management systems.

Candidates should have the ability to undertake all tasks and functions as detailed within job profile. Amongst the job specific/candidate requirements, the successful candidate requires to provide excellent customer care, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, undertake tasks to a high standard, demonstrate a flexible, positive and proactive approach to their work and their interactions with colleagues and customers, and have an understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
