Our primary aim is to support and facilitate the conduct and delivery of clinical trials in dementia and neurodegenerative diseases within the NDN portfolio. The Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network are looking for someone to join our Patient and Public Involvement team (Partners in Research). The role includes facilitating online and in-person groups, co-designing, and develop research-related materials, and contributing to co-research. We are looking for someone with experience of working with people living with dementia or neuroprogressive disease and/or research experience. Current projects include co-researching post-diagnostic support and dementia; and exploring clinical trial support for people with Parkinson's disease. Additionally, we hold regular meetings with researchers to provide input into their work. Experience of different research methods would be advantageous as we work within clinical trials, mixed methods, and observational studies among others. Our priority is to make sure people with lived experience have choice and opportunity to be involved in research-related activities. We want to make sure participation in research is a positive experience and that our Partners in Research feel heard and valued for their contributions.
