The Role Zoomo is revolutionising urban mobility by providing high-performance electric vehicles to empower delivery riders. We're a fast-growing, tech-driven company with a mission to make cities more sustainable and efficient. We are seeking a passionate Store Manager to lead our Edinburgh store. This is a high-energy role that requires a blend of entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional customer service, and a strong operational focus. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, including: Customer Service Excellence: You will be the face of Zoomo, providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of customers, including delivery riders from various backgrounds. You will effectively communicate with riders, often with limited English proficiency, to understand their needs and resolve any issues promptly. Building strong relationships with our riders and fostering a loyal customer base. Store Operations: You will oversee all daily store operations, including vehicle rentals, repairs, and maintenance. You will manage inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising losses. You will maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment. Implementing and enforcing store policies and procedures. Team Leadership: You will lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team of mechanics. You will set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews. You will recruit, hire and train new team members. Fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. Fleet & Revenue Growth: You will drive store revenue growth by achieving and exceeding growth targets. You will identify and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and retention. You will proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and enhance store performance. You will contribute to the development and implementation of new products and services. Embracing a growth mindset and continuously seeking ways to improve and innovate. Technical Expertise: You will possess a strong understanding of electric vehicles and their technology. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with vehicles quickly and efficiently. You will maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay 'dialled in' on the latest technology trends across the micro-mobility industry. Requirements 2 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced environment. Experience in startups or the micro-mobility industry is a bonus. Strong leadership qualities and a passion for training, leading, and motivating a team. Strong organisational skills with excellent written and verbal communication. Entrepreneurial spirit with a 'get stuff done' attitude. Ability to build and innovate from scratch, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Proficient with numbers and spreadsheets (Microsoft Office).
