About the Role: EHS Coordinator
Joining their UK team based in the South Midlands, you'll take on the role of an EHS Coordinator. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring accordance with EHS standards across the site's office & production facilities.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct frequent audits & inspections on-site, to ensure employees' accordance with H&S & environmental standards.
· Provide daily environmental compliance and EHS support for the EHS Manager & site management team. Also delegate for the EHS Manager in their absence.
· Prepare EHS documents to ensure EHS standards are met by employees.
· Coordinate the safe use of COSHH.
· Assist with devising EHS training sessions & delivering them.
· Be driven to put yourself forward for internal opportunities to acclaim qualifications ie: ISO, IOSH, Recyclass etc.
Requirements:
· Some experience in a similar EHS or Compliance role.
· Experience conducting EHS Risk Assessments.
· IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or working towards becoming accredited).
· Some environmental, quality or H&S auditing experience.
Desirable requirements:
· NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
· WAMITAB / COTC qualification or equivalent.
· Experience within the waste management sector
Package:
· Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum
