About the Role:
Reporting to: Head of Strategy
As Strategy Director at Fuse, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic direction for both UK and international clients. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will be a driving force behind our new strategy and comms planning team, helping to strengthen our market-leading partnerships strategy offering. You will lead high-profile client work, contribute significantly to new business development, and to projects enhanced on our agency's thought leadership and reputation. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the evolving media and partnerships landscape.
Main day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Client Leadership
* Act as a senior strategic lead across key UK and international clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Develop and deliver insightful, data-driven strategies that align with client business goals and drive measurable impact.
* Collaborate closely with the Fuse Insights & Effectiveness team throughout data & insight mining and analysis in order to deliver innovative market-leading partnership strategies.
* Collaborate closely with network clients' media planning teams where relevant to deliver integrated comms solutions.
* Support markets with partnership strategy briefs, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across key territories.
* Ensure strategies align with evolving consumer behaviours, digital transformation, and emerging market trends.
Broader Strategy & Business Growth
* Contribute to the evolution of our product, helping to enhance Fuse's strategic capabilities both internally and externally.
* Work alongside Senior Leaders to shape the agency's business strategy, focusing on both immediate and future opportunities.
* Support local Fuse markets by leading strategy training modules, running workshops, and coaching teams to strengthen their rights strategy offerings.
* Develop toolkits and frameworks to drive excellence and consistency across global markets.
* Partner with the Head of Strategy and growth team to bring Fuse's new global proposition 'Culturally Connected, Seriously Effective,' to life through thought leadership and industry engagement.
* Monitor industry innovations and best practices to inform strategic recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
New Business & Commercial Leadership
* Play a key role in new business pitches, contributing strategic thinking and narrative and in some instances, leading pitch development.
* Develop solutions to client briefs, ensuring a coherent and compelling articulation of strategic recommendations.
* Enhance Fuse's reputation across Omnicom Media Group and the wider Omnicom network through impactful thought leadership and best-practice sharing.
* Identify new revenue streams and innovative business opportunities that align with Fuse's strategic vision.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with divisional leads to ensure strategic alignment across all client deliverables.
* Foster collaboration between local and global teams to ensure knowledge sharing and cohesive execution of strategic initiatives.
