Quokka Education is looking for a dedicated and engaging Maths teacher for a full-time temporary role at a highly regarded secondary school in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a supportive environment where students are eager to learn.
The Role:
✅ Full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, and assessment.
✅ Delivering dynamic and engaging Maths lessons across KS3 & KS4.
✅ Encouraging students to develop problem-solving skills and mathematical confidence.
✅ Maintaining high standards of teaching and learning in line with the school's ethos.
The Ideal Candidate:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✔ Experience teaching Maths at secondary level in the UK.
✔ Strong classroom management skills
✔ A passion for making Maths engaging and accessible
This role is paid to scale, ensuring fair pay that reflects your experience and qualifications.
Contract Details:
- Position - Temporary Maths Teacher
- Contract or position start date - April 4th to June 13th 2025 (Strong likelihood of extension until the end of term)
- Location - Fareham.
- Full time/part time - Full time, however school will strong consider part time applicants.
- Salary - Paid to scale.
- Hours - 8.30 am to 3.15 pm, term time only.
