GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a vastly successful, growing, and leading regional law firm. We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Legal Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to a Partner within their Private Client department, located at their Bromsgrove office.
This position is office based, working full time, Monday – Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm offering a highly competitive basic salary of up to £24.500 per annum and excellent company benefits, including 22 days’ holiday per year to start, plus three additional days at Christmas and Bank Holidays, healthcare provision, pension and more.
To be considered for this position you must have previous legal secretarial experience.
The successful applicant will be required to liaise directly with clients, have excellent interpersonal skills and provide the highest standard of client care. You must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar secretarial or legal secretarial position, ideally within Private Client, and have excellent typing abilities.
Legal Secretary – Private Client main duties:
* You will undertake all tasks of a secretarial nature supporting partners and fee earners
* Audio typing, dictation and minute taking
* Managing diary appointments and arranging both internal and external meetings
* You will deal with confidential and sensitive information and upload files on case management systems
Legal Secretary desired skills and experience:
* Previous secretarial experience in a legal environment, accuracy and great attention to detail
* Fast and accurate audio typing and audio dictation skills
* Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner and client care expertise are essential
* Diary management and the ability to deliver great work in a demanding and fast paced office environment
