Main duties of the job
Walsall HealthCare NHS Trust is one of the busiest Units in the West Midlands. Our Maternity Unit currently delivers over 3300 women per year. A position has arisen within our dedicated team for a Neonatal Nurse. We are a designated Local Neonatal Unit (LNU) within the busy West Midlands Neonatal Operational Delivery Network and actively participate in Network groups and business. We are passionate about maintaining our high-quality nursing care and would like to recruit high calibre, dynamic, motivated and compassionate nurses to join our team.
Our Neonatal unit has 15 cots, which are comprised of 2 intensive cots, 2 high dependency cots, and 11 special care cots. Designated LNU (Level 2), we provide excellent care for preterm babies from 28 weeks' gestation and for sick newborn babies. We provide stabilization for babies born at lower gestations prior to transfer to NICU.

You will be joining a team who works a variety of shifts including internal rotation to night duty.
