we’re looking for a technical assistant to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment in our acton central production unit. you will have at least 2 years in food production and/or manufacturing
purpose
•support the technical department with daily administration and maintenance of all technical and compliance related data
•support the site technical manager and all site functions in maintaining all technical site systems
•support technical and site teams with technical related functions
•enhance supplier quality performance thus supporting the integrity of the Wagamama brand
key accountabilities
delivering the required food safety and food quality standards befitting of our brand
conduct and report daily tasting panels and results
carrying out the required internal audits according to predetermined schedules
identifying and investigating the root cause for any non-conformances and complaints
ensuring daily compliance with quality management system
monitor, police and enhance supplier quality performance
support on training programs, health and safety and food safety practices at cpu and warehouse
quality control of ingredients into cpu and warehouse
Maintaining the relationship with 3rd party laboratories and service providers
Essential
Level 3 food safety/HACCP
Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft office
Basic food hygiene
Ability to solve/offer solutions
Good team player
Good interpersonal skills
Minimum 2 year experience working in a similar role in the food industry
Willingness to be flexible with working hours

Conversant with BRC accreditation
