Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Greys Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assess students' learning needs and develop individualised learning plans Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and academic performance Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with SEN coordinators and other educators to support students' overall development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting Excellent knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Organisational skills to track student progress and maintain accurate records Experience in conducting assessments and creating individual education plans Working Conditions: This role will involve working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting. The tutor will need to travel to the designated location in Greys, Essex, within the East of England region. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
