Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Days – 7am – 4pm £38,000 Wolverhampton The Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you must be organised and be able to prioritise your own workload. You will be reporting indirectly to all our department managers, providing regular updates on all scheduled and reactive maintenance. What will you be doing? Being responsible for the repair and maintenance of all our tools, equipment and machinery. Minimise factory lost time by organising plant maintenance and prompt attention to plant breakdowns. Arrange maintenance of Laboratory & office equipment with prompt attention to breakdowns. Ordering replacement parts. Carrying out preventative maintenance. Keeping records of all maintenance carried out. Outsourcing work when repairs are not able to be carried out inhouse. Report all equipment issues and faults for the requirement of ordering parts and process to relevant Departments. Install and commission new equipment as required. Conducting frequent quality checks on equipment. Conduct routine preventative maintenance work, respond to equipment faults, diagnose break down and arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components. What will you bring to the party? At least 3 years’ experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as an electrically biased maintenance engineer. 3 years of manufacturing and engineering experience is preferred. Good knowledge and experience within the business sector involving Polymer processing. The capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures. Team Working skills to work cooperatively and consult with people at all levels. What Happens Next?
