The cluster: Northern Europe The Northern Europe ("NE") cluster is one of four clusters within the EMEA region, with sales of around $900 million. The fastest-growing mature cluster in the region, it comprises the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordic markets, with the UK being by far the largest component. It incorporates a broad range of global, regional and local brands, different business models and markets of different size and complexity. One Kenvue manufacturing plant, and one strategic location for regional services, is located within the NE cluster. The role: Senior Finance Director, NE Based in our office in High Wycombe, UK, we are currently recruiting a Senior Finance Director to lead the Kenvue Finance organization in NE. The Senior Finance Director will be responsible for providing financial leadership to the Kenvue business in NE, coordinating delivery of the finance agenda and acting as a key business partner to the Area Managing Director and Leadership Team of the cluster by shaping the strategy formulation and execution, taking decisions and leading actions to maximize the value of our portfolio over the long term, and playing a key role to drive profitable growth. In doing so, the Senior Finance Director will ensure alignment with all stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement these plans. The role includes full P&L management including profitability improvement programs, optimizing allocation of resources and working capital, cash flow and balance sheet management, and managing the financial risks and opportunities. Key responsibilities Financial and strategic business partner to the NE Area Managing Director, Northern Europe Leadership Team and their respective organizations, constructively challenging to identify value-creating growth opportunities and profitability improvements Lead financial and strategic planning for NE, including annual business plan, periodic updates, latest thinking and long-range operating and financial plans Lead the financial performance reviews, providing an overview of performance to the regional and cluster leadership teams, including drivers of variance, insights into future impacts and actions to be take Actively participate in commercial decision-making process, including target setting, resource allocation and appropriate trade-off Have an external focus and an ability to establish connections with outside parties (such as finance leaders of key customers, peers in other companies) Sponsor or lead projects and processes outside the scope of Finance Participate in, influence and lead EMEA cross-sector Finance initiatives Ensure active participation of the Finance team in business meetings, brand planning exercises, Board reviews and strategic plans Lead with the highest standards of ethics and compliance with Kenvue's financial policies and processes, local regulations and business conduct procedures; drive similar accountability throughout the organization Ensure close collaboration between all finance groups (for example, Accounting, Tax, Enterprise Business Services, other functions) while being the single finance point of contact for NE Be an inspirational leader who inspires people to reach their maximum potential, ensuring Kenvue's values are demonstrated in all interactions of his or her team Attract, develop and retain top talent; coach and mentor key talent in EMEA Financ Create an atmosphere where diversity, equity and inclusion thrives Demonstrate curiosity, develop a perspective on business matters, influence outcomes and role-model an agile learning attitude (test, learn and adapt) Requirements: University degree in Business/Finance/Economics with at least 15 years of relevant business experience; CPG knowhow is a plus Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading teams, also in collaborating with senior management, business and functional leaders Proven financial and analytical skills, a track record of delivering on goals and targets, and strong business acumen coupled with curiosity and an appetite to learn Strong interpersonal skills, team player mentality and respectful, collaborative working style Excellent communication, influencing and framing skills Exemplary leadership skills in creating diverse, high performing teams and developing people to their highest potential Ability to lead transformation, navigate complexity and handle ambiguity in times of change, coupled with the agility needed to adapt and thrive as circumstances change Strong customer and consumer orientation; experience of the consumer health or FMCG sectors is desirable but not a pre-requisite Committed to quality, service and the highest standards of compliance Excellent English language skills
