We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at our dual-sited practice, located on the outskirts of Middlesbrough.
Your New Role
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play an essential role in supporting our veterinary team in a range of clinical tasks, including assisting with various surgical procedures, promoting dental care, and providing consultations for health checks and general care. You will be responsible for running nurse clinics, offering services such as weight management, laser therapy, and more. The role offers a variety of surgical procedures, so you will have the chance to develop your skills in different aspects of veterinary care.

At our practice, you will work alongside a close-knit and experienced team, including 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 3 Client Care Coordinators, 1 Practice Coordinator, and 1 Practice Manager. Our clinic is led by a dynamic and progressive Clinical Director, Louisa (Imaging Cert), who encourages an environment of continuous learning and clinical excellence. We support and promote ongoing professional development and provide opportunities for certification courses to help you grow in your career.
The clinic is fully equipped with modern facilities, including digital dental X-ray, ultrasound, and access to an endoscope. We are a Cat-Friendly Clinic (Silver Award) and focus on providing the highest level of care in a stress-free environment.
Working Hours
The position is full-time, with a typical 4-day working week and flexible hours to support work-life balance. You will also be expected to work 1 in 5 Saturday mornings, but we offer no Sunday or out-of-hours shifts, with out-of-hours care handled by Vets Now Middlesbrough. The clinic is closed on bank holidays, except for Good Friday.

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum DOE
