We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Parts Planner to join the Rolls-Royce Commodities team in the Services Delivery Business Unit, as we look to deliver sparable material into Naval Stores to support the Royal Navy Submarine Flotilla.

What you will be doing
1. Responsible for the generation of datasets to enable the review of component demands in meeting the programme contract requirements.
2. Review and assess customer inventory data with a view to cascade demand and ensure delivery plans meet service and replenishment time frames.
3. Review customer demands/supply metrics and take appropriate action to ensure the customer requirements are justified and being met.
4. Support the Programme Manager and Technical Specialists as appropriate, with the commitment acceptance of component level requirement profiles with new and repair part supply chains.
Who we’re looking for:
* You will have a good in-depth working knowledge of Excel VBA programming.
* You will have material forecasting and supply experience, showing an understanding of the project lifecycle, risk management, cost management.
* You will have a good understanding of operations and procurement activities - prior submarines knowledge is not essential.
* The role will involve dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and excellent communication skills are therefore a prerequisite.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
