Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team in Brentwood. In this role you will lead and manage a team of engineers, whilst overseeing parts ordering and working closely with various departments within the business to ensure excellent service to customers. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of engineers to ensure high performance and job satisfaction. Optimize the team's performance and resource utilization to maintain operational efficiency. Manage parts ordering, returns, and inventory to ensure engineers have the necessary tools and materials. Ensure timely completion of job sheets, maintaining accurate records of work completed and issues encountered. Work closely with Contract Managers to enhance customer satisfaction, resolve service issues, and implement improvements. Track and monitor engineers' ETA compliance to ensure punctual service delivery. Develop and implement processes to improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred). Proven managerial experience, ideally in an engineering or technical environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders. Solid understanding of parts ordering, inventory management, and technical support operations. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in engineering.
