Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Fulfilment Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the timely processing and dispatch of orders. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. New larger warehousing facilities due for completion, December 2024, relocation from Carrickfergus to Mallusk by January 2025.
Duties
1. Operate and manage warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders effectively.
2. Utilise AS400 software for data entry and inventory management tasks.
3. Build and assemble products as required for shipping.
4. Safely operate forklifts for loading and unloading goods, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
5. Perform heavy lifting tasks as necessary, handling materials weighing up to 25Kg or more.
6. Stock shelves and maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring all items are stored correctly.
7. Oversee shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
8. Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring accurate placement within the warehouse.
9. Conduct regular materials handling tasks, including sorting and packing products for dispatch.
10. Use of company vehicles to deliver to businesses locally within Northern Ireland (ADHOC during busy period/cover for holidays etc).
Experience
1. Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfilment environment is preferred but not essential.
2. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
3. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is desirable.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.
5. Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in stock management.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting is essential.
