Job Description
As an Associate Director, you will have overall responsibility for a group of clients, with excellent technical expertise in your field. You will lead and manage client relationships, develop new business, and contribute to staff management.
We are looking for candidates based in Manchester, Leeds, or Harrogate, with in-office collaboration three times a week.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing excellent client service and ensuring customer experience aligns with Conduct Risk framework.
* Achieving Exceptional Advisor competencies and managing client relationships.
* Contributing to business strategy to prioritize client needs and ensure viability.
* Marketing and business development activities as agreed with your Head of Department.
* Ensuring compliance with internal procedures to mitigate risk.
* Conducting financial performance reviews with direct reports.
* Managing WIP and debtor policies.
* Managing day-to-day operations of direct reports and conducting annual development reviews.
* Mentoring and developing talent in line with company programmes.
Qualifications
* Significant private client tax experience in a professional practice.
* Knowledge of private client tax and related advice.
* Experience in tax planning and advisory projects.
* Client relationship management skills.
* Business development experience.
* Team and project management skills.
Professional Qualifications
* Qualified Tax Advisor and/or Chartered Accountant
