Responsibilities: Preparing accurate short, medium and long-term forecasts, providing crucial insights for decision making. Appraising investment opportunities, managing long-term cashflow and recommending funding options Utilising our new ERP system to set up and report regular performance metrics. Providing insight to optimise efficiencies, cost savings and improved profitability. Report on financial trends and variances to highlight areas of opportunity. Provide commercial support to Directors and Senior Managers across the business. Directly manage our IT and Systems Manager and contribute to the continual enhancement of our IT systems, controls, as well as and driving efficiencies. Identifying business risks and establishing mitigation strategies. Managing, coaching, and developing the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Skills required: A recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent and a strong academic background. A strong ability to understand and analyse complex financial data, driving strategic decision-making. Excellent at communicating financial insights effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment. An exceptional leader with a positive approach and friendly disposition. Ability to prioritise and manage workload. Relevant Experience: Extensive senior-level accountancy experience. Proven experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role delivering financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Competence with a range of financial software. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desired but not essential.
