We are seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team in our Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and stimulating activities.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and implement a variety of recreational and social activities for residents.
- Develop and coordinate programs that cater to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of seniors.
- Collaborate with staff to create a calendar of events that align with residents' interests and abilities.
- Lead group activities such as arts and crafts, music therapy, exercise classes, and outings.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident preferences.
- Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and inclusive manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to plan and execute engaging activities that promote socialization and cognitive stimulation.
- Passion for working with seniors and creating a positive environment for their well-being.
This position is for 3-days per week, alternate weekends 07:30 to 15:00. Hours can be discussed at interview

Uniform will be supplied, paid onboarding induction, training sessions and ongoing training in areas to benefit your job role.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
