The role
As a Production Controller - Electrical, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be Liaising with a variety of different teams in the delivery of complex engineering solutions. You'll provide support in the creation, coordination and processing the release of work documentation to ensure the project is delivered in a safe and controlled manner.
Day-to-day, you'll be coordinating and processing production tasks in accordance with the project.
* Providing technical guidance to the project by conducting technical Statement of Work reviews in support of planning/execution of work.
* Producing work breakouts with required documentation to enable work to be safely conducted on the platform.
* Processing surveys and emergent work through supporting IT systems.
* Building and maintaining credible schedules for the project.
* Maintaining and managing associated activities through the project delivery framework.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Production Controller - Electrical
* Experience within a Health and Safety background with experience of driving continuous improvements to daily activities.
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
* Have an understanding/experience of project delivery.
* Experience of liaising with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
* Be an organised individual capable of managing multiple tasks in support of delivery.
* Experience within the Submarine Maintenance Programmes - Desirable.
Qualifications for the Production Controller - Electrical
* Recognised apprenticeship or professional qualification.
* BTEC National / ONC in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification / experience.
