In support of the University’s Widening Access aspirations, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join the University’s Access & Articulation Team within the Directorate of Student Recruitment.
The Access & Articulation Team support the work of the Directorate through the support of pre-entry applicants from widening access backgrounds or planning to join the University from College. The team works in both schools and colleges to support pupils and students on their journey to University.
You will work as part of the Access and Articulation Team who are responsible for a range of activities covering various stages in the student lifecycle, including aspiration and awareness-raising of higher education and supporting applicants in exploring their choices and applying to University. Including the Reach programme, a Scottish Funding Council funded programme which provides tailored support to better understand and access competitive courses in higher education e.g. law & medicine.
You will work in partnership with the team to co-ordinate and deliver the Reach programme and support any other widening access activities, including engaging with widening access school pupils and college students across the North and North East of Scotland.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 5 salary scale (£32,296 - £35,880), with placement according to qualifications and experience. This role is a fixed term post available until 31st July 2026.
Any appointment will be made subject to satisfactory references and a probation period.
This role is based in the UK and, as such, the successful candidate will be required to live and work in the UK.
