Reports To: Managing Director
Works Closely with: Project co-ordinator & office/operational manager
Location: Various project sites, mainly in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties but occasionally beyond

Job Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the project co-ordinator, the Landscaping Foreman will ensure that Emotive Landscapes landscaping projects are delivered safely and to a high standard, whilst exceeding our client’s expectations.
The role will require a keen eye for detail and a high level of hard landscaping skills including paving, decking, blockwork, and brickwork. You will be responsible for a small team of landscapers and must have great people skills and be able to organise and motivate your team whilst being the first point of contact for our clients and as such have a professional and approachable manner at all times.
Key Knowledge:
1. Relevant experience/qualification in landscaping
2. Good understanding of landscape construction
3. Basic principles of horticulture
4. Good knowledge of H&S requirements
5. Awareness of project budgets and timelines
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee key domestic landscaping projects
2. Work with Managing Director & project co-ordinator to plan work flow and priorities
3. Understanding of design drawings and lead the setting out of sites and levels
4. Able to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines
5. Ability to problem solve
6. Ensure you and your team adhere to H&S guidelines and wear correct PPE
7. Tickets/experience of using Plant Machinery safely
8. Knowledge of and ability to lay paving, setts and stonework expertly
9. Knowledge of and ability to lay blockwork and brickwork
10. Construction of decking and fencing
11. Shrub and tree planting
12. Turfing and seeding
13. Organise materials required to execute the jobs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
