PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Customer Care Skills: Must possess excellent customer service skills to maintain positive interactions with clients. Adherence to the company code of conduct when working in occupied properties is essential. Insurance Claims Knowledge: Familiarity with the rules and regulations surrounding insurance claims would be advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided in-house as necessary. Personal Qualities: A friendly and helpful attitude is critical. An efficient and professional approach to work is expected. Appearance and Uniform: Employees are provided with a uniform that must be worn at all times. A presentable appearance is mandatory when working in client properties. Work Authorisation: Must have the right to work in the UK. Machinery Operation: Experience driving diggers and operating plant and machinery is advantageous. Labouring Skills: Experience in labouring tasks, particularly in support of trades such as plastering and bricklaying. General Labouring: A good all-round experience in general labouring tasks is essential. Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and provide support to colleagues. Independent Working: Capable of working independently and following specific instructions when required. Additional Licences: A licence for up to 7.5-ton lorries and trailers would be beneficial but is not essential. Groundwork Experience: Experience in groundwork, such as paving, is advantageous. Joinery Experience: Proven experience in joinery work, including installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures. Precision & Detail: Ability to work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Knowledge of Materials: Familiarity with various types of wood, materials, and their appropriate uses in construction and repair. Tool Proficiency: Proficient in using hand tools and power tools specific to joinery, such as saws, chisels, and drills. Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying and solving issues that may arise during joinery work, ensuring efficient and effective solutions. Time Management: Capable of managing time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
