Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.
Role Purpose
Applicant must possess a recognised qualification in Social Work, Health, or other relevant qualification.
This is an opportunity to work in the integrated Scottish Borders Community Mental Health Service. The post is based in Huntlyburn House, just outside of Melrose, and is within an easy commuting distance from Edinburgh, with excellent transport links. Flexible working arrangements are available. The post covers the whole of the Scottish Borders area.
This post will involve working closely with colleagues in established multi-disciplinary teams. Practitioners from all professions are highly committed to providing the best possible outcomes for those with mental ill-health and/or addictions. The service has a track record of innovation and new ideas are actively promoted. The post will enable the successful applicant to develop and consolidate their skills in project and change management.
