We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Buyer to join a dynamic team in a leading construction company. Key Responsibilities: Assist senior Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, or Buyers in the day-to-day running of construction projects. Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and procurement strategies. Help with tracking project costs and managing financial records. Assist with tendering and procurement processes, including sourcing materials and subcontractors. Aid in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts. Monitor project progress and report on budget and expenditure. Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participate in site visits and project meetings, assisting with cost reporting and evaluations. Essential Requirements: Strong interest in starting a career in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Purchasing. Basic understanding of the construction industry (an advantage but not essential). A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
