Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Ward Clerk to be based on the Acute Medical Unit. We aim to provide a high standard of care within our ward and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, has a friendly manner and an excellent work ethic.
Main duties of the job
Good organisational and communication skills are essential as well as a flexible approach to work. The successful candidate will ideally have previous office and front of house experience, preferably in a similar role within the NHS, Social Care or other health-related environment. A good general education, 3 GCSEs or equivalent, are required. Knowledge of Health Board IT systems, including Myrddin, would be desirable although full training will be given.
The successful candidate will be able to work in a busy environment that has high acuity and activity and have a sensitive, caring and non-judgmental attitude towards others. They must also be flexible in their role and will be expected to assist with discharge planning. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
