We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Admin/Receptionist to join a school based in Wandsworth. As the first point of contact for our students, parents, and visitors, you will be responsible for providing excellent administrative support to our school community.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
2. Manage the reception desk, answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing visitors to relevant areas of the school.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student records, attendance records, and staff information.
4. Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and other materials as required by the school.
5. Assist with administrative tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
6. Support the school's marketing and communication efforts by preparing materials for social media, newsletters, and other publications.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and welcoming school environment.
Requirements
1. Must have experience using SIMS and other school-based computer packages.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
4. Strong organisational and time management skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. Experience working in a secondary/primary school setting.
