The role is a crucial post in leading the delivery of a world class Design & Development service and establishing a 1st class business partnering relationship with the Clinical Groups at GSTT. The role will be the conduit between Essentia Design & Development teams and the clinical groups, ensure a consistent service delivery, support for coordination of
governance and supporting clinical groups to interpret GSTT 2030, the emerging Estate Strategy to support their demands for all aspects of GSTT Estate across all associated available space.
The postholder:
• Lead with the support of the Assistant Director the functional implementation of a
clinical group business partnering function into 1 or more clinical function.
• Hold responsibility for the strategic planning, governance, outline design then smooth
handover to the project delivery team so that healthcare facilities meet the clinical needs of the Trust for one or more clinical groups for estate solutions varying in value from £50k - £100m.
• Input functional priorities to the development and implementation plan for GSTT Estate Strategy having regard for clinical priorities developed as part of the new business partnering function.
