We are Seeking Tutors in Leicestershire for Students Awaiting Alternative Provision We are seeking experienced and passionate teachers to join a dedicated team working with students currently out of mainstream education. These students have been excluded or have Special Educational Needs and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and are awaiting placement at an alternative provision. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored teaching and support to students who are temporarily out of mainstream education. Work with students with a range of needs, including SEMH and SEN, to support their educational progress. Devise a tailored plan with the student to help support their needs, focusing on core subjects. Key Requirements: Proven experience teaching children, ideally in special educational settings or with students who have SEMH/SEN needs. Ability to adapt teaching methods to support the individual needs of students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with students, parents, and other professionals. A minimum commitment of 5 hours of teaching during the school day, across 3 days.
