About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dance Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and newly qualified professionals who have a passion for inspiring students through the art of dance. Youll be joining a supportive team with excellent facilities and resources, helping to create a creative and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Dance lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop students' creativity, technical skills, and appreciation for various dance styles.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
* Encourage student involvement in extracurricular dance activities, performances, and competitions.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school events.
* Contribute to the development of the Dance curriculum and support school productions.
About You:
* You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* You are passionate about dance and have strong subject knowledge.
* You have experience in teaching a variety of dance styles and choreography.
* You possess excellent communication skills and can inspire students of all abilities.
* You are highly organised, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high teaching standards.
