Jetstar is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Partnerships Manager to lead Jetstar Media and oversee all new business and media sales, with a focus on driving owned, retail media and partnerships into thriving revenue streams across the Jetstar group. This role is responsible for the strategic vision, growth and execution of all media sales and asset expansion at Jetstar Media.
Reporting to the Manager – Brand Extensions and Partnerships, you will be responsible for leading strategic partnerships and media sales, with a key focus on securing new business prospects to maximise ancillary revenue for Jetstar. Your entrepreneurial mindset, commercial and creative abilities will be crucial in leading the development and execution of tailored omni-channel media strategies across the Jetstar ecosystem for all new business, and the creation of new media assets and channels for asset expansion.
The core responsibilities of this role will be :
* Develop and define partnerships, sales pipeline and media product strategy for implementation across Jetstar Group.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage successful multi-channel campaigns.
* Has a strong sales background with experience in media planning.
* Lead strategies on product and partnership interactions for optimal design and customer uptake.
* Develop product strategies to adapt to changing customer and environmental conditions.
* Identify strategic opportunities to improve revenue or cost outcomes within Jetstar and Qantas Group.
* Ensure product strategy is competitive, sustainable, and aligns with Jetstar brand position.
* Develop joint partnership strategies with Qantas Loyalty to meet overall Qantas Group benefits.
* Identify and create compelling, innovative customer value propositions.
* Respond to commercial and customer demands with effective product strategies.
To be considered, key skills will include :
* 5+ years of experience in product and portfolio management, including managing complex inter-related P&Ls.
* 3 years of direct team management and leadership experience.
* Sales, relationship management, partnerships, or media and marketing preferred.
* Experience managing large transitional projects from ideation to decision.
* Experience in complex negotiation and RFPs / contract management.
* Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with exposure to research data and insights.
* Excellent project and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build positive relationships.
