Purpose and Scope This role is responsible for financial reporting, compliance and analysis for entities in the UK, AMME and Asia Pacific regions, and sits under the Corporate Accounting and Reporting finance group within TGS. This position involves preparing financial statements in IFRS or local GAAP, coordinating external financial audits, assisting with tax compliance and engaging in cross-functional finance projects. Key Responsibilities Preparation of statutory financial statements in IFRS or local GAAP, ensuring compliance with local reporting requirements; Preparation of extended trial balances and supporting audit files for legal entities, joint ventures or branches in the UK, AMME or Asia Pacific region; Management of local external audits, ensuring adherence to statutory deadlines; Reconciliations of statutory accounts to management accounts prepared under IFRS, in particular for the Nigeria JV entity; Providing support for local tax audits for UK, AMME or Asia Pacific legal entities; Review and analysis of financial information on a legal entity basis, including multi-currency ledgers, and use of two separate finance systems, Oracle Fusion and SAP Preparation of submission requirements to the Office of National Statistics; Review of balance sheet reconciliations; Working closely with internal stakeholders including Group Accounting, Tax and Business Control to support day-to-day finance operations and ad hoc projects.
