Job Description
A vacancy has arisen in the Infant Assessment Team. This is a small team, which undertakes assessment of parenting capacity in complex cases and completes permanence work where reunification is not possible. This is a rare opportunity to work in a specialist team with a focus on securing permanence either with birth parents or within a permanence framework. There are opportunities for joint working and extensive opportunities for learning and development. The post will appeal to a children & families practitioner with strong annylurical assessment and report writing skills, who can work to timescales and who enjoys seeing detailed pieces of work through to completion. The right candidate will have experience of undertaking permanence work with children, and have strengths working in a transparent, child centred way with both families and the professional team around the child. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application if your salary is over £38, per annum, which will be deducted from your first pay.
